Esther offers shearing within a two hour radius of our farm.

Rate for shearing is $30.00 per alpaca, with optional toenail clipping at $5.00 per alpaca, if desired.

Also, Esther requires that the customer provide two able-bodied persons to assist her with the process.

Animals can be shorn standing or restrained. Esther will provide the restraining device, or the customer may use their own chute.

If overnight stay is required, the customer will provide accomodations at their expense. Trip charge to be determined.

We feel fortunate to have a beautiful farm, with lush pastures and a magnificent two-story barn built by Welsh settlers, in this quiet corner of the Adirondack foothills.

At our farm, we offer routine husbandry, deworming and toenail trimming at a reasonable rate of $3.00 per alpaca per day, with multiple discounts available.

Veterinary care is available at the customer's expense---we are happy to have the services of two experienced camelid vets at our disposal, Dan Nielsen and Lou Calebrese, if the need should arise, or if there are any special requests.
